"What Bee Girl is, is she comes around throughout the film, as a running
gag, and she'll be at the funeral, or running around campus...she's the
mascot of this campus...and she pops up everywhere, in costume. She's
not just a mascot on the football field...she wears it because it's part
of who she is. She doesn't even have a name, she's just...Bee Girl."

(Christy pops in her mouth guard/braces)

"Bee Girl still has a lot of orthodonture, so she wears a retainer, and it
kinda doubles as a mouth guard because, you know, mascotting is a
contact sport. So she kind of speaks like [Sylvester the Cat] and she's
kind of excitable.">

"She's like a peppy lesbian feminist, which is great. I can do that."
